Gamification tools proven inside a real gaming platform

Infinetix is a UK product company that builds and operates its own iGaming, social and analytics platforms. The gamification mechanics we offer were built for AzenPlay, are measured in AcuBi, and are available to banks, health providers, retailers and app teams direct or white-label.

What gamification is, in our terms

Gamification is the use of game mechanics, progress, rewards, competition and timed challenges, to encourage people to do something a product wants them to do: finish onboarding, come back tomorrow, save more, complete a course, refer a friend. Done well it is a measured behavioural tool; done badly it is a points badge nobody looks at, or worse, a manipulation. Infinetix sits in an unusual position.

We build and operate AzenPlay, an iGaming platform where engagement mechanics are core, and we built an analytics product, AcuBi, to measure them. That gives us two things most gamification vendors lack: mechanics that have been tuned against real player behaviour, and a definition of success that is a number rather than an adjective. This page explains what those mechanics are and how we offer them outside gaming.

The mechanics

  • Missions and quests
  • Loyalty tiers
  • Leaderboards
  • Referral
  • Missions and questsstructured tasks with clear completion criteria and rewards, chained into journeys
  • Loyalty tiersstatus levels with benefits that unlock as activity accumulates, with tier maintenance rules
  • Leaderboardsranked competition by segment, time window and cohort, with anti-gaming controls
  • Fortune wheels and chance-based rewards: used carefully, and never where they resemble gambling in a regulated context
  • Referralinvite mechanics with rewards for both parties and fraud checks on the invite chain
  • Lifecycle journeystriggered messages and offers keyed to where a person is in their relationship with the product
  • Streaks, progress bars, achievements and badges: the visible layer that makes progress legible

Each mechanic exists as a configurable component with an admin interface, a rules engine and event tracking. They were built for AzenPlay, which is built and being prepared for licensed launch, and are separable from it.

Responsible use

Mechanics that work on players in a casino can harm people in a bank or a clinic if lifted across unchanged. Every deployment carries constraints:

  • No dark patternsno countdown pressure on financial decisions, no fake scarcity, no hidden costs
  • Spend and time caps where mechanics touch money or attention, with cooling-off periods
  • Opt-out and reset for any competitive or streak mechanic, without penalty
  • Chance-based rewards excluded from contexts where they would resemble gambling, and excluded for under-18s entirely
  • Accessibilitymechanics usable with screen readers, reduced motion and without colour-only cues
  • Data minimisationevents collected are those needed to run and measure the mechanic, held to the client's residency requirements

Player protection is the default in AzenPlay, and those defaults travel with the tools rather than being switched off for other industries.

Measurement with AcuBi

A mechanic without a metric is decoration. Every component emits events into AcuBi, our business intelligence product, where the questions that matter are answered in plain language: did the mission increase completion, did the tier change retention, what did the rewards cost against the behaviour they bought. AcuBi provides role-based dashboards, alerting when a metric moves and root-cause detection when it moves the wrong way.

For iGaming clients it uses a native metric model including bonus cost and player value; for other industries the model is adapted to the outcomes agreed at scope. AcuBi is at an early, design-partner stage, with AzenPlay as its founding design partner, and we do not publish customer results for it. What we can promise is that the measurement is built in, not bolted on.

Who it is for, and why Infinetix

Gamification from Infinetix suits product teams that already have an audience and a measurable behaviour they want to change, and that want proof before scale. It is a poor fit for simple utility apps, for products whose users need protecting from engagement pressure, and for anyone wanting a badge system to tick a box.

The reason to work with us is that the mechanics come from a live platform we operate and are on call for, the measurement is a product we built, the responsible-use constraints are defaults rather than options, and we describe status plainly. We are a small, remote-first UK team; we would rather run one journey well and show the number than sell a suite. See AcuBi for the analytics and AzenPlay for the platform where the mechanics were first proven.

Sık sorulanlar

It helps where there is a repeated behaviour worth encouraging and an audience that already uses the product: onboarding, learning, saving, adherence, retention. It rarely helps a single-use utility, and it can harm users in sensitive contexts if applied carelessly. We say which of these your case is during scoping, before any build.
Each pilot defines a target behaviour, a baseline and a control group before launch. Events from the mechanics flow into AcuBi, which reports the change in the target behaviour, the reward cost and any side effects such as churn among users who opted out. Expansion is decided on that evidence.
Yes, with constraints applied by default: no pressure tactics on financial decisions, no chance-based rewards, clinical input for health programmes, and financial-promotion and data-protection rules respected. The controls come from operating a regulated iGaming platform and are tightened, not loosened, for other sectors.
