Curaçao licensing framework now requires local substance and direct authorization

A 2026 industry guide says Curaçao abolished the old sub-license system on January 1, 2025 and now issues licenses directly through the Curaçao Gaming Authority. It also says transitional “orange seal” licenses expired on October 15, 2025 and that from January 1, 2026 licensees must have a Curaçao-registered entity, a local office, and at least one local managing director.
