GiG to acquire 888Africa in €16.4 million deal and launch €8.5 million fundraising

GiG Software agreed to buy an 80% stake in 888Africa from Evoke subsidiary VEEL in a transaction valued at about €16.4 million. GiG said it plans to raise about €8.5 million through equity and convertible loans to fund the initial payment and general corporate needs.
