Infineon adds AI data center power portfolio with C2i Semiconductors acquisition

A report on Infineon says the company is acquiring C2i Semiconductors, a specialist in software-defined multiphase controllers and smart power stages. The acquisition is tied to power delivery for AI data centers and is expected to close in the current third quarter of 2026.
