Visa and Nium are piloting seven-day stablecoin settlement under the Monetary Authority of Singapore’s BLOOM initiative. The pilot uses regulated USD- and EUR-backed stablecoins to enable settlement on weekends and public holidays through Visa’s payment network and compliance systems.
